Welcome to the Rev. Paul Garrett
and his wife Mary Ellen who come to St. Barnabas from St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church in Estes Park, Colorado. A welcome reception was held for the couple on Friday, March 28.  More than 200 parishioners and friends attended the happy event.

April Adult Forums Focus on Controversial Views
In the book, The Meaning of Jesus - Two Visions, Liberal Lutheran Theologian Marcus Borg and Conservative Anglican Bishop Tom Wright trade opposing essays on faith issues  declared in the Creed but questioned by historical evidence i.e. Virgin Birth, Resurrection, Second Coming.

Everyone is welcome to participate Sunday mornings at 11:00 am in Marshall House. Books are now available below cost in the church office and at the sessions.

April 6:  Introduction – Why do we care about verifying Jesus historically?  No reading necessary.

April 13:  Paired essays by  Borg and Wright that we’ll choose together in the first session.
